Model scope
What this model is
Regional Mobility ABM (Central Macedonia) — Live Lite is a browser-based stochastic demonstration example of selected mechanisms from a private MOBI-TWIN regional mobility model. It supports public communication and exploratory interaction.
The model creates a synthetic initial population, assigns each synthetic agent to one of 38 regional units, and advances two parallel tracks: No Transition (NT) and Twin Transition (TT).
Mechanisms retained
- 38 regional units and regional population accounting;
- monthly simulation for 60 or 120 months;
- No Transition and Twin Transition tracks from a common synthetic initial population;
- clustered 120-month exit hazards;
- internal relocation and out-migration;
- exogenous inflow, births and deaths;
- age, activity, income, internet and education effects;
- macro-scenario and transition effects;
- remote-work destination weighting;
- congestion-sensitive destination choice;
- synthetic friend and neighbour influence with lagged buffers;
- regional population, net migration and national income-Gini outputs.
Public simplifications
- Only the selected macro scenario is run.
- The initial population is generated from 80 aggregate synthetic archetypes rather than individual source rows.
- Exit inputs use 10 clustered public profiles.
- Destination inputs use 24 clustered public profiles over 38 regions.
- The default population resolution is 600 agents; users may select 300 or 900.
- Public parameters are rounded and receive small deterministic perturbations.
- The regional map is rendered from simplified GeoJSON.
- Synthetic-agent point locations are not exposed in the public interface.
- Private experiments, paths, agent-level snapshots, and private input tables are omitted.
Interpretation boundary
This is a demonstration example, not a substitute for the private empirical model. It has not been numerically calibrated against private batch outputs for this release, and no claim of substantive equivalence is made.
