Privacy and disclosure
Excluded private materials
No original sample personal information is published. The public repository excludes:
- the original 21,911-row sample table;
- row-linked exit and destination-probability tables;
- original individual or donor identifiers;
- source-row-to-archetype mappings;
- the private NetLogo model and private inputs;
- absolute local or institutional file paths;
- agent-level snapshots or downloadable agent histories;
- unused source columns or original text fields.
Published materials
The browser receives only aggregate synthetic archetypes, clustered and smoothed profiles, simplified regional geometry, rounded public parameters, and aggregate-output logic.
Disclosure controls
- Source rows were grouped into 80 synthetic archetypes, with small groups merged before public summaries were produced.
- Exit curves were reduced to 10 public profiles and destination distributions to 24 public profiles.
- Weights, category probabilities, age and income summaries, preference summaries, profile mixtures, and public parameters were perturbed and/or coarsely rounded.
- No source-row mapping is retained in the public package.
- Only aggregate national trajectories and regional snapshots can be downloaded.
- Synthetic-agent point locations are not shown.
Limitations
This is an engineering disclosure-reduction workflow, not formal differential privacy and not legal certification of anonymisation. Anything delivered to a browser can be inspected; only materials approved for public visibility are included.
