&lt;p>CoChina examines collaborative planning, public spheres, and power relations in authoritarian and rapidly digitalising urban contexts. Within the project, Junyao investigated how social media and digital platforms reshape public participation, discourse formation, networked power, and planning governance in China.&lt;/p>
&lt;p>His work combined social media data, complex network analysis, large-scale text analysis, interviews, field research, and agent-based modelling. &lt;p>This project combined agent-based modelling, spatial analysis, and participatory design to transform an underused public space. It connected behavioural simulation with community input and contributed to the UN-Habitat Sustainable Community Pilot Program.&lt;/p>
&lt;p>The project demonstrates how computational methods and public participation can jointly support small-scale urban regeneration and evidence-based public-space intervention.&lt;/p></description></item></channel></rss>
