Contribution
Junyao develops spatial microsimulation and agent based modelling approaches, contributes to scenario based assessments, and studies how structural change alters regional opportunity, mobility patterns, and uneven development. His work connects complex systems modelling with economic geography and place based policy, combining European microdata, spatial analysis, network methods, and interpretable modelling.
