Abstract
The article presents the Shuangjing micro-renewal practice as an example of technology-supported, human-centred, and evidence-based participatory design. It describes how multi-source evidence and public engagement can inform small-scale urban regeneration, connect community needs with design decisions, and strengthen the practical capacity of design interventions in established neighbourhoods.
