Abstract
The article investigates how regional cognitive composition shapes spatial development trajectories under the green and digital transitions. Moving beyond structural explanations alone, it examines how differences in regional cognitive profiles condition adaptation and contribute to uneven development. The study connects the geography of the twin transition with debates on regional trajectories and place-based policy.
